BASIC NUTRIENTS comprehensive multi-vitamin-minerals

All of our multiple vitamin-mineral formulations are the only vitamin-mineral supplements containing the active forms of Vitamin B12 (adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin) and folic acid (folinic acid). We include these bodily-ready nutrients to reduce the amount of work the liver must do to convert supplements like cyanocobalamin and folic acid to the active forms the body needs. For the same reason, we use pyridoxal 5' phosphate and riboflavin 5' phosphate, the active forms of B2 and B6. Individuals with hepatic dysfunction cannot properly convert non-active forms of these nutrients. Higher-than-average levels of Vitamin C and pantothenic acid are utilized to decrease stress on the adrenal glands. Calcium and magnesium are available in a nearly 1:1 ratio, for optimal biological utilization. Kids need good supplements too. However, the majority of children's multiple vitamin/mineral supplements contain sugar and/or cheap, poorlyabsorbed nutrients, tablet binders, and excipients. The two-part gelatin capsule may also be taken apart and the contents emptied into food or liquid.
